Who We Are
At St. Gregory the Great Catholic School, we are blessed to be part of a vibrant Catholic school community where faith formation and growth, academic excellence, and service of our community come together to form the foundation of our educational experience. Rooted in the teachings of Christ, our mission is to nurture the spiritual, academic, and personal growth of every student, preparing them to lead lives of faith, integrity, and purpose.
Beginning in 2009, we have been serving the families of San Diego County who are looking for a school where all are welcome, all are nurtured, and all succeed. As a preschool through 8th grade are fully accredited school, we welcome children and families from all faiths and backgrounds. As a school community, we embrace all learners, including those with learning differences. We have a robust resource program committed to serving our students in need of additional support or accelerated learning.
Our school is a place where the values of the Gospel are lived out daily. We are committed to fostering a loving and supportive environment where students can grow in their relationship with God, develop a strong moral compass, and cultivate a deep sense of stewardship. Through prayer, worship, and service, we guide our students in living out their faith in meaningful ways.
Academically, we strive for excellence in all that we do. Our dedicated educators provide a rigorous and engaging curriculum that challenges students to think critically, explore their talents, and achieve their full potential. We believe in educating the whole child—mind, body, and spirit—ensuring that each student is equipped with the skills and values needed to succeed in today’s world.
As a Catholic school community, we are also deeply committed to service. We encourage our students to be active participants in their faith by serving our community, both within our school and in the wider community. Through acts of kindness and charity, our students learn the importance of giving back and making a positive impact on the world around them.
