Our Vision Statement
At St. Gregory the Great Catholic School, we envision a community where every student flourishes, spiritually, academically, socially, and emotionally. We are committed to equity and continuing our pursuit of a vigorous program that serves students with learning differences, ensuring that all learners are supported, celebrated, and valued within a diverse community that welcomes students of all faiths and backgrounds
We will cultivate a culture of social-emotional well-being through an embedded curriculum that teaches resilience, empathy, self-advocacy, and self-regulation. Our teachers will be fully trained in, and embrace, the principles of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and principles of standards referenced grading, applying them within our traditional grading framework to enhance conceptual learning and a growth mindset for all students.
Our school will remain deeply rooted in Catholic identity, strengthened by a visible presence of our Bishop and guided by the Church’s mission to provide a faithful Catholic education. Steeped in a Catholic worldview, our curriculum will form students in wisdom and truth, justice and compassion, empowering them to become self-directed learners and faithful witnesses who transform the world with Gospel values
Consistent with the Church’s call to excellence in Catholic education, we will implement ongoing processes and structures to ensure the highest standards in every aspect of our programs, life, and activities We are dedicated to preparing students not only for success in high school and college, but also for meaningful lives of faith, leadership, and service beyond.
