Our Guardian athletes played five games, winning the semi final game against St. John School. The final game against St. Michael’s saw our Guardians 10-0 down. The choice was there – to succumb to defeat or to dig deep for the “Do Right” rule. Our boys rallied, scoring a touchdown with 2 minutes left and kicking an extra point. With 30 seconds remaining, they scored a touchdown in the end zone and again scored an extra point. Final score 14-10 Guardians. These young men demonstrated an attitude of Guardian Grit – they make us proud! Deepest gratitude to coaches Mrs. Grissom and Mr. Nalbandian for inspiring and motivating this great group of student athletes.
