St. Gregory the Great Catholic School 10th Year Anniversary!

St. Gregory the Great Catholic School begins this calendar year celebrating our 10th anniversary of the opening of our school. In 2009 we started out with just 65 students in kindergarten through fourth grade, adding a grade each year until we had the first graduating class in June of 2014. In fact, the graduating Class of 2018 was the first group to begin their education journey at St. Gregory the Great kindergarten in 2009!

Jolly Gift Boutique

Jolly Gift Boutique, a Christmas tradition at St Gregory the Great, was a huge success again this year. Our students shopped in secret for family and friends and brought their gifts home already wrapped and ready to place under the Christmas tree.

Annual Turkey Trot is Almost Here!

The Annual Turkey Trot, a student-centered fundraiser, is scheduled for December 7 this year. Students welcome donations which will directly enhance their learning experience. All proceeds will be used to expand our 1:1 iPad program. Students will be the direct beneficiaries of their efforts as they run, trot, jog, walk, around the field to raise money for their school's technology program. Our goal this year is to challenge each student to raise at least $100 in donations. You can support the Turkey Trot with a cash/ check donation to the school office, or donate online by clicking the yellow "DONATE" button at the top right. Label your donation "Turkey Trot".

Faith Family Logo Contest Winner!

Congratulations to Rachel Rowin, Class of 2019, whose logo was selected to adorn our Faith Family t-shirts this year. Over thirty students demonstrated their Guardian spirit by submitting amazing logo entries. Rachel's winning logo depicts a student's journey through St. Gregory the Great Catholic School from kindergarten through eighth grade, with the slogan, "working 'til we reach the top! together." The Great Quarter Race! A New Record!

Students celebrated Halloween by participating in the annual Great Quarter Race. The goal of this service project, in partnership with Cross Catholic Outreach, was to provide food for hungry children around the world. A total of 7,572 quarters was placed on the promenade by students dressed in orange and black.

Third Graders Donors

Stewardship is alive and well at St. Gregory the Great Catholic School. These four wonderful ladies raised $151.72 by running a Lemonade Stand in their neighborhood this past summer, and decided to make a special and unique donation to their school community.

Rockin' Robotics in 8th Grade

It has been very exciting this year to roll out a Robotics Program in our junior high classrooms. Students in grades 6 through 8 are using the VEX Robotics system, a modular curriculum that provides effective STEM learning solution, promotes critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Students are also learning to write computer code, which will ultimately inspire more creativity and innovation in robotics design.
