Essays were submitted last November by over 700 students attending public and private schools throughout San Diego and Imperial counties. Emily will receive a plaque and check for $300 and all finalists will receive certificates. As the teacher of a contest winner, Mr. Buckley will receive a full scholarship to attend University of San Diego’s annual character education conference this summer.
