Read Across America is an annual event which seeks to motivate and encourage reading, calling for every child in every community to celebrate reading on March 2. Our students designed bookmarks; reported on their favorite books; matched teachers and staff with their favorite books; and everyone was invite to express their love of reading by weaving on the “Heart” in the library. A BIG “Thank You” to all who have volunteered to serve as Mystery Readers! Students were also invited to dress as their favorite book character. What a fun week!
